Understanding Emotions in Person-Centred Care
Understanding Emotions in Person-Centred Care is a new continuing professional development course for experienced practitioners who want to bring a neurobiological lens to the emotional work they already do. Grounded in affective neuroscience, polyvagal theory and evolutionary psychology, it explores anger, fear, grief, shame and the drive toward hope not as problems to be managed but as adaptive responses to be understood. The course is currently being prepared for formal assessment by The CPD Certification Service. To learn what it covers, how it is structured and how it is assessed, take a few minutes to explore the course overview.
Understanding Ethics in Spiritual Care
Understanding Ethics in Spiritual Care is a new continuing professional development programme for practitioners in spiritual and person-centred care who want a practical, jargon-free grounding in ethical thinking. Twelve short modules — from Wittgenstein's duck-rabbit and the trolley problem to the veil of ignorance and the ethics of self-care — are grouped into four blocks, each combining self-paced eLearning with a live tutor-led session and a reflective submission, and treating moral resilience and self-care as ethical necessities rather than optional extras. The programme is currently being prepared for formal assessment by The CPD Certification Service. To see what it covers, how it is structured and how to be told when enrolment opens, take a few minutes to explore the course overview.
